Spiritwood Forest LLC is the creative outlet of a US Army Veteran and third generation Finnish-American craftsman located in the beautiful ‘Live Free or Die’ state of New Hampshire. It started out as my answer to chaos. It has since grown into a full time passion. Smaller creative projects involve hand harvesting materials and designing functional objects that reflect the warmth and beauty of the natural world. Larger purposeful projects utilize domestic, sustainable forestry products sourced through local family run businesses. While I enjoy transforming wood into things of all shapes and sizes, my true passion is in the construction of traditional outdoor saunas that even the most discerning Finn would approve of.
